Ziua Mondiala a Apei

In data de 22 martie 2010 se va sarbatorii ZIUA MONDIALA A APEI, eveniment pentru care, in acest an, ONU a ales deviza APA CURATA PENTRU O LUME SANATOASA. Cu aceasta ocazie, pe perioada urmatoarelor saptamani sunt programate o serie de actiuni destinate informarii si educarii publicului in general, a tinerilor in special, cu privire la problemele apei.

Dintre evenimentele ocazionate de aceasta sarbatoare dorim sa mentionam:

* Luni 15 martie 2010 – Comunicat de presa ARA si postarea pe site a unor materiale pregatite de Asociatia Mondiala a Apei (IWA)

* Vineri 19 martie 2010 – o masa rotunda ARA - MAVIZ programata la sediul Asociatiei Ungare a Apei din Budapesta, cu dezbaterea responsabilitatilor ce revin celor doua organizatii in procesul de pregatire a Strategiei UE privind dezvoltarea regionala in bazinul Dunarii

* Sambata 20 martie 2010 – actiuni de prelevare de probe si controlul calitatii pe Dunare

* Duminica 21 martie 2010 – o actiune organizata de studentii Facultatii de Hidrotehnica din cadrul Universitatii Tehnice de Constructii Bucuresti, in parteneriat cu Administratia Nationala Apele Romane, Apa Nova Bucuresti, Asociatia Romana a Apei, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, Green Report si Radio Bucuresti, cu sprijinul Primariei Generale a Municipiului Bucuresti. Manifestarea se va desfasura în Parcul Herastrau, zona Expoflora, intre orele 11 si 15 cuprinzand concursuri de desene pe asfalt si quiz-uri, jocuri pe tema ciclului apei in natura, clovni, baloane, pirati si zane ale apei. Cu ajutorul unor postere studentii vor prezenta unele probleme ale apei si solutiile acestora: care este drumul parcurs de apa pana la robinet, cum este tratata apa pentru a fi potabila, ce se intampla cu apele uzate, la ce folosesc barajele, cum se modeleaza curgerea apei etc. Vor fi distribuite materiale promotionale dedicate temei acestui eveniment.

* Luni 22 martie 2010 si in continuare – actiuni la nivelul Directiilor de Bazin si la operatorii de servicii de alimentare cu apa si canalizare

COMMUNIQUE

 

On March 22, 2010 it will be celebrated WORLD WATER DAY, an event for which, this year, the UN has chosen the motto CLEAN WATER FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE. On this occasion, are scheduled during the following weeks a series of actions designed for informing and educating the public in general, young people especially on water issues.

 

The events occasioned by this celebration are the following:

* Monday, March 15, 2010 - Press release by ARA and posting on the site of materials prepared by the International Water Association (IWA)

* Friday, March 19, 2010 - a round table ARA - MAVIZ scheduled at the Hungarian Water Utility Association HQ in Budapest, for debating the responsibilities of the two organizations in the preparation process of the EU strategy on regional development in the Danube basin

* Saturday March 20, 2010 - actions for sampling and quality control on the Danube

* Sunday, March 21, 2010 - an event organized by the students of the Hydro-technical Faculty of the Civil Engineering University Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Waters National Administration, Apa Nova Bucharest, Romanian Water Association, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, Green Report and Radio Bucharest, with the support of General Mayor of Bucharest. The event takes place in Herastrau Park, Expoflora area, between 11 am and 15 pm including asphalt drawing competitions and quiz's, games on the water cycle in nature, clowns, balloons, pirates and fairies of the water. With the help of posters, students will present water problems and their solutions: which is the road mapped by water to the tap, how is water treated for drinking, what happens to waste water, how are dams useful, the model of the water flow, etc. Will be distributed promotional materials dedicated to the theme of this event.

* Monday, March 22, 2010 and continue - actions of the Basin Directorates and service operators of water and sewerage
